However, retirement proved not to be for Bradford so he began his next venture in real estate. He partnered up with Dan Bell and continued in the real estate business until his death.
He also worked alongside Sheridan throughout the creation of Yellowstone.

Milt and his wife Mary owned and showed many cutting horses throughout their marriage. Milt spent many years showing in the cutting division with much success.
With his mare Glamorous Dually, Milt won the National Cutting Horse Association (NCHA) 2001 Brazos Bash Classic/Challenge Amateur and the 2002 NCHA Super Stakes Classic/Challenge Amateur.
In 2006, Mary and Milt’s horse Our Little Dyno won the Millionheir Derby Open with trainer Paul Hansma.
Mary also saw success in the show ring with DMAC Wise Guy winning the 2019 NCHA World Championship in the $ 25,000 Novice Non-Pro.
