Taylor Sheridan has become a well-known name in Hollywood. His newest creation to hit screens is Lawmen: Bass Reeves.
Lawmen: Bass Reeves follows the real-life story of the legendary lawman Bass Reeves. As the first black U.S. Deputy Marshall West of the Mississippi River, Reeves arrested over 3,000 criminals while never getting hurt during his iconic career.
Originally set to be a spin-off series of 1883, Lawmen: Bass Reeves is now its own stand-alone story. The much-anticipated series has been years in the making thanks to Chad Feehan, Taylor Sheridan, and David Oyelowo.
What Time to Watch Lawmen: Bass Reeves
Lawmen: Bass Reeves will premiere on Paramount+ in the United States at 3:00 a.m. ET (12:00 a.m. PT). The first two episodes are available beginning on November 5 with new episodes airing weekly at Sunday 3:00 a.m. ET.
The Western series will feature a total of eight episodes. While the series is currently only available to stream on Paramount+, the first episodes are available for free on Amazon Prime Video with a Free trial of Paramount+.

What is the Premise of Lawmen: Bass Reeves?
The official synopsis on Paramount+ for Lawmen: Bass Reeves reads:
“From executive producers Taylor Sheridan (1883) and David Oyelowo (Selma) comes the untold story of the most legendary lawman in the Old West: Bass Reeves. LAWMEN: BASS REEVES, follows the journey of Reeves (Oyelowo) and his rise from enslavement to law enforcement as the first Black U.S. Marshal west of the Mississippi. Despite arresting over 3,000 outlaws during the course of his career, the weight of the badge was heavy, and he wrestled with its moral and spiritual cost to his beloved family.”
The cast for the series includes David Oyelowo, Dennis Quaid, Donald Sutherland, Lauren E. Banks, Demi Singleton, Forrest Goodluck, Barry Pepper, Garrett Hedlund, Shea Whigham, Mo Brings Plenty, and Joaquina Kalukango.
