A woman found three kittens running right up to her, and knew they needed her help.

Donna, an animal rescuer @feralcatcolony, has been caring for community cats, getting them spayed and neutered and helping friendly kitties find forever homes. She was at a cat colony on a Saturday when she came across three tiny newcomers.
She noticed extra food left in the area and thought someone had come to feed the cats, until three pint-sized kittens emerged from the shadows.
As soon as the kittens heard Donna’s voice, one by one, they all came running to her.

The grey kitten was the first to make his way to Donna, and his two siblings trailed closely behind him.
They immediately activated their purr motors upon being held. The grey kitten even started stretching his happy paws. After getting all cleaned up, they scarfed down some food and were quickly tuckered out in a bed, catching up on some sleep.

The kittens were abandoned at the location without a mother in sight. At just four weeks old, they weighed under a pound and needed round-the-clock care. Donna didn’t hesitate to take them in and set up a comfortable space for them.
“They had a great night, using the litter box, eating and drinking like champs,” Donna shared with Love Meow.

After a visit to the vet and treatment for their eyes, the feline siblings were on the mend and began filling out. “They need to fatten up and grow big and strong. And that’s what I plan to do.”
The kittens, lovingly named Woody (grey), Bryson (black tabby), and Kenzie (solid black), figured out how to eat from a dish and kick-started their weaning process on their own.

When one of them took the lead to try solid food, the rest of the crew followed suit.
“They were truly three of the smartest little 4-week-olds I’ve ever fostered. They taught themselves how to cat. I did very little to show them the ropes. They wrestled, played with toys, snuggled together and loved each other.”

In just one week, Kenzie and Bryson surpassed the one pound mark and were catching up to their brother Woody. It didn’t take long until they made their first escapade outside the playpen and into the vastness of the house.
“They made for some fun and laughs here in our home. Kenzie is extremely loving and just melts in your arms. She holds her own when it comes to her brothers,” Donna added.

The kittens rumbled and tumbled everywhere they went. Woody discovered his penchant for shoulder rides and encouraged his siblings to do the same.
“They are purr machines that enjoy using me as their cat tree.”

When the three were big enough for adoption, they were spayed and neutered and then joined the adoption program at Cats Are People, Too! Club to help them land their dream homes.

Woody quickly won over a wonderful family with another cat, a dog and two loving human sisters. Bryson and Kenzie, a bonded pair, were adopted together into a great home. They will never be apart.

“We had a blast fostering these babies. They brought us nothing but fun, joy, happiness and tons of laughs,” Donna said.
The trio have come a long way and are now thriving with their forever families, living the best life.
